Don’t be put off – Hanson’s Shoe Repair is nothing like the name suggests! It is a fabulous craft cocktail bar, housed in a building with a rich and fascinating history. The perfect destination for grown ups to hang out to really soak up the Orlando atmosphere.
“Hanson’s is located at 27 E. Pine Street in a building that was erected in 1883-1884 with a nineteenth century commercial style. Andrew Hanson acquired it in 1894 for his “Hanson Shoe Repair Shop” which had Orlando’s first electric sign. It is generally thought that this building may be the oldest building still standing in downtown Orlando.”
The bar works in the style of an old speakeasy, so you’ll need a password to get in. The password changes daily and you can find it on the Twitter account @hansonsshoeshop!
Icon Park

It is fair to say that Icon Park is very popular with families, but it’s a great destination for adults to enjoy some quality time together.
Perhaps a romantic evening ride or the opportunity for a romantic date on the 400 ft Ferris wheel, which offers terrific views of the city, maybe on the cards.
